im getting;


root@snapper:/bin$ telnetd -F
telnetd: ptsname error (is /dev/pts mounted?): No such file or directory
telnetd: can't create pty

any clues?

Make sure you have the following line in /etc/fstab:
none /dev/pts devpts defaults 0 0

Once that is there, after a reboot everything should work fine. To test, just try:
mount -t devpts none /dev/pts
telnetd

ah OK, that fixed it.

I think I've been living on a diet of Debian for too long, I'd forgotten all this part of the fun smiling smiley

can I just add that having got the QSK dev kit, how impressed I am with the build quality and the "bang for the buck" the 9260 represents. I've been using a range of other embedded modules for a while now, and the speed and memory footprint the 9260 provides for the money is very impressive, its going to change the way I approach this next project totally.
