ARM Developer Suite (ADS) Version 1.2 provides a complete software development solution for creating applications for the ARM architecture. The Suite comprises:
Code Generation Tools - Embedded C++ and C compilers, Assembler and Linker for ARM and Thumb® instruction sets
Jazelle (Java) support
An Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Windows
Enhanced GUI debuggers, including multi-target functionality
Instruction set simulators ROM-based debug tools
Support for new cores (ARM9E™, ARM926EJ-S, VFPv2, ARM10™) including DSP intrinsics for 9E instructions
Sophisticated on-line documentation
Real Time Trace supported via an add-on product
ARM Developer Suite is the replacement for the existing industry leading ARM Software Development Toolkit SDT2.5. It either enhances existing SDT components or replaces them with new products.
