ARM RealView Integrator Compact Platform

Compact Development board with LCD and ethernet

The ARM RealView Integrator Compact Platform is a compact development board which supports up to 1 core module and up to 3 logic modules. It provides connectors for a number of useful perpherals which are mostly implemented as Primecell peripherals on the core module.

The Integrator/CP provides connectors for LCD, touch screen, VGA, Multi-Media Card (MMC), audio codec and 10/100 ethernet using the SMSC91x chip.

Main Features

The ARM RealView Integrator relies on a core module which provides up to 256 MB of SRAM and up to 1 MB of ZBT SRAM. The core module also provides the following Primecell peripherals:

  • PL011 UART
  • PL050 keyboard and mouse interface
  • PL030 real-time clock
  • PL181 MMC interface
  • PL110 colour LCD controller
  • PL041 advanced audio codec interface

The /CP board provides the following connectors and features:

  • 16 MB NOR flash
  • Multi-media card socket
  • Connectors for DB9 serial, keyboard, mouse
  • LCD and touchscreen interface connector
  • LED character display
  • 4-way DIL switch and 4 status LEDs
  • RJ-45 Ethernet socket (10/100 MBit)
  • MMC socket
  • Audio line level input and output with microphone and headphone amplifier
  • 8-bit GPIO

Operating System Support

The Integrator/CP supports ARM Embedded Linux, SymbianOS, WindowsCE and other RTOSs. The U-boot boot loader also supports Integrator/CP.

The ARM Firmware Suite is provided with the board, as well as FPGA files for the primecell peripherals mentioned above.

Core Modules Supported

Integrator/CP supports the following core modules which can be purchased separately:

  • CM920T
  • CM922T-XA10
  • CM926EJ-S
  • CM946E-S
  • CM966E-S
