Integrator/CM - ARM Core Module
Integrator Core Modules are designed to operate standalone or in conjunction with Integrator development platforms, such as the Integrator/AP ASIC Development Platform and the Integrator/SP Standard Development Platform. Integrator/CM Core Modules can also be used with third-party or user-designed platforms.
Integrator Core Modules operate with other ARM RealView tools such as RealView ICE and RVDS.

Closely coupled memory system
The volatile memory (SSRAM and SDRAM) is located on the Core Module close to the CPU, so that it can be optimized for speed. This means that the memory bandwidth is significantly improved over previous development boards. Considerable effort has gone into ensuring optimal memory and AMBA bus performance. Actual figures are dependent on the speed of the test chip used but typically they are in the region of 50MHz for the SDRAM and 25MHz for the AMBA system bus.
Standalone operation
ARM RealView tools such as Multi-ICE can be used for debugging. By applying power and a JTAG run control device such as the Multi-ICE unit, Integrator Core Modules can be used on the bench without a platform board. This allows simple applications to be demonstrated and the power of the ARM core to be investigated. Third parties wishing to use the Core Module in their own designs have a basic working system on which to build. This reduces the development phase for new systems.
Multi-core support
Integrator/CM ARM Core Modules are designed to connect with ARM and third-party development platforms that meet the interface specification.
Up to 4 Core Modules can be stacked on a development platform to support multi-processor applications. Other ARM RealView tools can support this configuration.
Four interface connectors on each module carry the signals between the platform board and the Core Module.
