Snapper-DV 3530 is a small digital video capture, storage and display solution aimed at supporting modern digital video requirements in the electronic signage and security markets. Unique in its size and functionality, Snapper-DV 3530 supports high quality video display and capture applications within the same unit. Snapper-DV 3530 connects directly to any LCD screen or alternatively via a standard VGA connector, enabling it to display feature rich content on panels ranging from 8" to 60" or larger.

Digital Video Display & Capture
Using a powerful embedded microprocessor, Snapper-DV 3530 is able to add video overlays in real time, with no need to re-encode the core video stream. This enables the user to quickly and easily add effects such as scrolltexts, translucent graphics and live data feeds such as RSS news headlines. Background video and graphics can be produced using standard software packages enabling pre-existing content and images to be used.
With its optional digital image capture card and lens, Snapper-DV 3530 provides 3 MP+ image capture. This enables the unit to operate as a digital display solution but also as a high resolution image capture device or security camera. Its image quality allows true identification of suspects and makes blurred, hazy images a thing of the past.
Snapper-DV 3530 provides for easy installation. Individual units can be connected to any Ethernet network allowing power and data to be delivered through a single cable. Alternatively the unit can operate from 6-28V DC power source and use an 802.11b/g WiFi connection for network access. Snapper-DV 3530s small size makes it easy to install no matter how tight the space and avoids the need for digital display or capture solutions to be connected directly to a large PC.
Providing an all solid-state design, Snapper-DV 3530 removes the common maintenance concerns associated with the mechanical aspects of PC based solutions such as cooling fans, hard disks or DVD drives. The unit consumes very little power and operates at temperatures up to 60 degrees.
